and typically, my parents have managed to leave us at home while they go on a cruise up around Vanuatu. For 10 days. Just me and my siblings.

great. perfect. So while my sister and i slave away instead of having a break from doing that NORMALLY, working around the house, making dinner, doing washing etc., my bro sleeps in until 11, then sits around watching anime he's seen 12 times, cracking a hissyfit when i tell him he HAS to shower, coz he smells, and that yes, he has to help me bring up wood or do a load of washing.
And this is my OLDER brother, by 2 years. You'd think he's have grown up by now...

i am not a slave. I have homework to do, and only a week left to do it in. NOT COOL PPL!

Anyhow, HOLIDAYS (>_> yeah right)! This means time to get my homework up-to-date and get a few final touches done for my cosplays in August.

I managed to finish another Sheryl Nome Cosplay a few weeks ago, as well as a pair of her earrings. If anyone wants a nice pair of Sheryl Nome Cosplay earrings, i have plenty of beads and wire left to make some more pairs, so just let me know~
So yeah, i'm not making anymore cosplays this year, unless its for Tickera because she's my Ranka-Lee and i need her to cosplay with me at manifest I'm focusing on my vis com dress, which i'm hopefully gonna be able to start next week XD

WORK:
man, i never have worked so often during a holiday; every second day! i'm suprised Linda's giving me shifts, seeing as i'm almost 18 and probably cost her a fortune with all these 5-7 hour shifts.
But hey, money is good. I'm gonna try to get stuff done today, while its raining, as well as look after the dog, do washing, get dinner tonight since its just me and my bro. As much as i don't wanna cook for him, all he's do otherwise is eat junkfood and that would piss me off more...

BIRTHDAY:
wow. unsuprisingly enough, i feel as if noone would turn up to my 18th even if i invited them. >_> i have no idea who's going to manifest so i can't really organise a get together there, and as much as i want to throw a huge party like all my friends, i know my parents won't let me.
I think that is the worst thing about being me. My parents think i'm a robot and identical in wants as my siblings, but i'm NOT. i WANT to have a party, with all my friends, and have a blast, but neither my brother and sister had parties so why should i?
i think the most hurtful part is knowing one of my best friends, who turns 18 on the 14th, just 4 days before me, is having a suprise party thrown for her but noone would even think to do that kinda of thing for me. If i didn't throw a party, most likely people wouldn't even realize that yes, i'm 18, yes i want a party.
its actually quite hurtful. I mean, i spent heaps on my friend's birthday presents and we organised lunchtime parties at school for them, and noone will ever throw one for me. Just once, i want someone to say happy birthday to me without having to hear someone else say it first.

But yeah, thats just my luck. I'll just have jem and rach come over and we'll watch movies and eat junk. out of my school and localised friends, they seem to be the only ones who would be willing to come and veg.


Ah well, another month until the big day. Maybe manifest will cheer me up...
